Are you a budding graphic designer? Got short stories, poetry, or illustrations but they’re left at the back of a drawer? Do current events make you want to vent some opinionated steam? Then BAISMAG is the place for you – as the student magazine of International Studies, we’re always on the lookout for new team members and freelance contributors.
We publish three magazines per semester, each around a theme chosen by the students. Recent issues have been around the theme of Unicorns, Radicals, and ‘We the People’. As a contributor, you’re welcome to interpret the theme in any way they choose. There’s also the option of writing for our online blog – in particular, we’d love to have advice from students on their favourite spots in the Hague, or personal takes on current events.
Our team is diverse, from different backgrounds, year groups, and studying various areas within International Studies. We’re always open to new contributors and we’re open to any student of International Studies, whether you’ve been the editor of your high school magazine, or if you’d just to try something new. We’re also looking for online writers for our website, and planning to make a blog series of BAIS students.
Feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, find us on Facebook, or fill in this form for an easy way to register your interest. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible and can let you know of date and time of the next meeting.
